The colourful La Vierge tasting room is located at the entrance of their winery and offers a relaxed space in which to enjoy award-winning wines surrounded by breath-taking views of the Hemel-en-Aarde area.
Recently, your hosts unveiled new offerings to enhance the wine tasting experiences. You can enjoy three new vertical tastings – the Vertical Tasting Apogee Pinot Noir; Vertical Tasting Apogee Chardonnay; and the Vertical Tasting La Vierge Noir. They have also added macaron and wine pairing tasting, with their ever popular chocolate and nougat tasting as well as an Olive and Wine Pairing. To top it off, you will be surprised at how reasonable their rates are!
As you sip on the exceptional wines at La Vierge, you’ll notice that each bottle tells a story – a story of the land, the climate and the people who nurture the grapes. The winery produces amazing red and white wines – several of which have won top awards.
You will love the refreshingly rich and elegant of their white wines. Their offerings include the Jezebelle Chardonnay, the Original Sin Sauvignon Blanc, the Last Temptation Riesling and The Apogée Chardonnay, which best capture their efforts in wine-making.
