Hops Hollow is situated on the highest point of the Longtom Pass, 22kms from the town of Mashishing (Lydenburg) in Mpumalanga. This family run guest house and microbrewery is owned by Willie and Magdaleen Botha.
There is a great sense of family here with plenty of space and a children’s play area on the rolling lawns, with magnificent views. Pets are also welcome.
Apart from beer on tap, the guest house has a full bar and a restaurant where they offer a full menu of lunches and dinners. Breakfast is served all day.
Hops Hollow also has facilities in the newly renovated Die Skuur, and caters for weddings and conferences, also hosts the annual Longtom Potjie Kos Competition.
The Hops Hollow Brewery
The beer brewed at Hops Hollow is a combination of the brewer’s experience, scientific background, artistic flair and passion for his craft.
Each batch of beer is handcrafted and each batch surprises with different nuances and taste. This is a constant source of enjoyment providing great pleasure and taste to the connoisseur.
Their all-malt beer is brewed with no enhancers or unnatural additives and is on a par with the world’s best. The clean mountain water being one of the most important ingredients.

Three Star B&B Accommodation at Hops Hollow Guest House
Accommodation is offered upstairs in two comfortable well-appointed ensuite rooms which lead off a spacious TV lounge.
Downstairs there is the Honeymoon suite as well as a room which caters for the disabled and a further three rooms suitable for families.
All rooms have tea and coffee facilities, and on suite bathrooms
