Zevenwacht Wine Estate’s name is derived from the Dutch ‘Seven Expectations’. Situated on the beautiful Stellenbosch Wine Route, with panoramic views of Table Mountain, Table Bay and False Bay.
Zevenwacht’s winemaking philosophy is simple – quality begins in the vineyard. The wines of Zevenwacht are distinguished by their classic style and finely crafted elegance.
Their winemakers honour century-old wine-making traditions, yet are boldly innovative, welcoming the contribution that modern technology makes to the vinification of premier wines.
Covering 120 hectares of the 450-hectare property, the vineyards are ideally situated for the growing of quality grapes.
Zevenwacht is characterized by good quality, varied soils and the vineyards have been selectively planted with red and white noble varietals.

Zevenwacht Wine Estate produces exceptional wine.
The Z Collection includes the 360 degrees Sauvignon Blanc, Gewurztraminer and Reserve.
The Estate Range includes the renowned Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The Tin Mine collection comes as both a white and red blend.
The 7even Collection consists of the 7even Sauvignon Blanc, 7even Rood, 7even Syrah, 7even Bouquet Blanc, 7even Rose and 7even Pinotage.

Sample the Zevenwacht wines at a wine tasting
The Tasting Centre offers a leisurely atmosphere to sample Zevenwacht wines, within sight of the barrel cellar in which they were produced and matured. There are different tasting options available, including a cheese and wine pairing and chocolate and wine.
Visitors are welcome to tour the cellar by appointment. Open seven days a week. Closed on 25 December 2019.

Seven beautifully-appointed vineyard cottages, each with three en-suite bedrooms and sharing a charming lounge.
Chalet
Set high on the slopes and surrounded by vineyards. The chalet is self-catering with a fully equipped kitchen, four en-suite bedrooms, lounge area, dining area, BBQ area and an indoor fireplace.

As a working wine farm, Zevenwacht offers a unique Winelands experience. With multiple conference venues, the Auditorium can seat 64 delegates and is equipped with advanced technological facilities. The Clubhouse can seat 28 delegates, the Boardroom and Private Tasting room is perfect for smaller meetings.
